PH Paper

pH paper comes with pH test kits, in rolls between five and 15 feet. You can order refills when your kit runs out of paper, instead of having to reorder an entirely new kit. Many people prefer to order pH paper before they order any other supplements, because it makes sense to find out where your body falls on the pH scale before you try to fix any deficits.

What you may discover is that your pH level is at the 7.4-7.5 mark, which is ideal for disease prevention. However, if you take a saliva test and see that you are at a 7.0 or less, your body is more on the acidic side, which is where illness and disease thrive. pH Paper for Testing

Ideally, it is suggested that you take a pH test using the pH paper first thing upon rising, or two hours after eating a meal. If you take the test right when you wake up, you may find that you are getting a more acidic reading, which is normal upon fasting for 8-12 hours. However, you may prefer to eat a light breakfast, and then take the test two hours later, for a more accurate gauge on your body’s pH level.

It is important to realize that a calcium deficiency will cause your body to come up as acidic on the pH scale. Only when you introduce calcium supplements and/or ingest more calcium-rich foods, will your body’s pH level begin to shift towards the alkaline side.
